Private by design
No account and no sign-up. Scan results, favorites and history are stored on your device. We run no server that receives them. On iPhone, iPad and Mac you can optionally send characteristic values to a web address you choose; that is off until you set it up, and the data then goes to that address, not to us.
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google may collect data such as your advertising ID for them. Where required you are asked for consent first, and on iPhone and iPad you choose whether to allow tracking. Neither app has an analytics or crash-reporting SDK. See the privacy policy.

iPhone, iPad and Mac: free with ads on iPhone and iPad. Bluelyze Pro is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription that removes the ads and lifts the advertisement log limit of 1000 entries; on Mac it also adds multi-window, the RSSI dashboard window and saving exports to Downloads. Prices are shown in the app and the store in your local currency. Cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.
The scanner, GATT browser, beacon decoding, export and webhook push are free.
Questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is no registration and no login.
Does it show ads?
Yes, in the free version on iPhone, iPad and Android. Bluelyze Pro removes them on iPhone and iPad. The Mac version has no ads.
Why is there no MAC address on iPhone?
iOS does not give apps the hardware address of a Bluetooth device. It shows a random identifier instead. Android shows the address.
Can it scan in the background?
On iPhone, Bluelyze can keep watching your favorite devices in the background and notify you. iOS limits general background scanning. On Android, a foreground service watches favorites.
Where does webhook push send my data?
Only to the HTTPS address you enter, and only for characteristics you choose. We do not receive it. This feature is on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Is it a replacement for a Bluetooth hardware tool?
No. It is a phone-based inspection tool. For radio-level work you need dedicated hardware.
Is it safe to write to characteristics?
Writing can change how a device behaves. Only write values you understand, on devices you own or are allowed to test.
